Restoration of contemporary works
She studies new restoration materials and new artworks (plaster and lead works, papers, cartelami, lactics, rubbers, acrylics, vinyls , installations, assemblies, kinetic works, polyurethanes, experimental plastic materials); she uses state of the art equipment and instrumentations, documenting and monitoring the interventions through a “condition report” specifically devised for unusual works .
She has taught in the first specialisation courses set up in Italy for the restoration of contemporary artworks in 1989, at the ENAIP Lombardia School in Botticino, today a Centre of Regional Excellence.
In 1993 she published a book about the techniques of contemporary art restoration, the first in the world on this subject (the first manual /issue was published by the Botticino School in 1989)
